Whether you’re working with Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet/IP, or a proprietary machine protocol, our Gateways can communicate, convert, and deliver the data your systems need.

Widely used. Extremely flexible.
Monico Gateways support both Modbus RTU (serial via RS-232/RS-485) and Modbus TCP (Ethernet). We can operate as a Modbus Master or Slave, and our systems support extended Modbus addressing (up to 65,535 registers) and many vendor-specific variants.
Use Cases: Engines, gensets, drives, remote sensors, and legacy field devices.
Direct integration with ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PLC5, SLC, and MicroLogix
Our Gateways communicate natively with Allen-Bradley PLCs via serial (DF1) or Ethernet/IP, pushing data directly to controller tags or integer/bit memory spaces.
Advantage: Avoid expensive ProSoft cards or custom scripting.
Ideal for Building Automation and HVAC
Monico supports BACnet MS/TP (Serial) and BACnet/IP (Ethernet). With Auto-Discovery support on Ethernet, BMS systems can pull tag names and mappings directly—no manual entry required.

Seamless communication with Series 90, VersaMax, and more
Monico Gateways push data to GE PLCs via SNP/SNP-X over serial and SRTP over Ethernet, making it easy to integrate remote Modbus devices with GE systems.
