J1939 to Modbus Protocol Converter

The S.A.E. J1939 Translator is a Modbus protocol converter that gathers data from CaterpillarŪ Marine, Cummins,John Deere, Detroit Diesel, Deutz and Perkins engines. It displays this data and makes it available in the Modbus RTU format through a RS485 port. S.A.E. J1939 complies with the American Trucking Association protocol. The J1939 Translator may be directly connected to Monico's MoniTrend Man-Machine Interface (MMI) for local viewing, trending and historical archiving of data. A J1939 Modbus Data Map defines the Modbus parameters available from various engines types. The J1939 Translator backlit LCD readout allows local scrolling through and viewing of all parameters. The J1939 Translator is preconfigured so no configuration is required in the field.
