Application
The Monico CCM Translator is a Protocol Converter that gathers data from the
engine ECM and the Pyrometer module or Auxiliary Inputs and
provides this data in Modbus format for access by PLCs, Building Automation Systems
or Man-Machine Interfaces.
Each Translator can handle up to two independent engines of any type.
The Monico CCM Translator is a plug and play product which automatically scans
the engine controller for available parameters on power-up. If a Pyrometer is connected,
that information will also become immediately available. A
Modbus Data Map is downloadable
which identifies the Modbus parameters for each engine type.
The Monico CCM Translator uses reliable, industrial Opto 22 hardware and, as such,
can be expanded to gather from a variety of auxiliary input sensors that measure pressure,
temperature, etc.
