Monico CCM Translator-Ethernet Version

Application
The Monico CCM Translator is a plug & play protocol converter product which translates CCM protocol to Modbus TCP/IP protocol. It is used in applications where engine data is to be transferred from a CCM to a PLC, CCM to a Man-Machine Interface (MMI), (see Monico MoniTrend product) and from a CCM to remote monitoring devices (see Monico satellite systems).

Standard Equipment
Translator Hardware & Software.
24 VDC or 110 VAC to 5 VDC power supply.
Translator to CCM cables.

Inputs
2 serial RS-232 inputs for CCM's.
Optional inputs for exhaust temperatures,
auxiliary equipment and external processes.

Features
Automatic CCM detection and configuration.
Retrieves all Engine/Generator PIDs for any
engine type.
Can handle two engines simultaneously.

Installation
Mount the Translator and power supply in a panel within 50 feet of the CCM.
Connect the Translator to CCM.
Connect the Host Device (PLC, SCADA or MMI) to Translator Ethernet port and configure the host to accept the appropriate Translator Modbus addresses as shown in the Translator Data Map spreadsheet.
Supply 5 VDC power to the Translator.
Begin scanning Translator Modbus addresses to receive engine data.
